I'm a keen photographer/copywriter and I'm based in Peterborough too. My main passion is wildlife photography and I came across your site when searching for details on the Burleigh House Deer.

I think your photos are stunning and I thought that we might be able to help each other out regarding the location of wildlife in the area etc. I'm currently working on a personal project with barn owls and muntjac around Hampton.

I also have a unique idea for a wildlife website which would benefit people in the UK and abroad - the potential is huge. I'm looking for like minded people who are interested in discussing the idea, particularly people who are experienced web designers, as the idea would require more than a standard template web package.

Don't know about the current facial hair growth!!! but the updated website looks fantastic. All very natural to you obviously. How do yoy manage to sit still long enough to get your shot? when at work you cann't sit still for 5 minutes let alone 5 hours!!!!!

Hope the second week on Mull went well and the weather improved? As promised, here's the bbc job link and the national trust link where you can register for them to send you job alerts and apply for work experience. Be persistent and it'll pay off!

Also, the picture libaries that we use in our books all the time are Rex Features, Getty Images, Alamy, Corbis, Empics, Powerstock, Punchstock, The Travel Library, Topfoto, ScotFoto.co.uk (which is actually a library with specific scottish photos) ...if you need more then let me know but they're the main ones! Just google them and hopefully they'll tell you how to supply photos and give you details of loads of smaller libaries you can contact also.

Have you thought about sending some local pics (i.e. ferry meadows) and a mini write-up to the ET newspaper? They might be interested as it's local? Especially after they see how good your images are and we have that kind of wildlife on our doorstep ...

Anyway, anything else I may be able to help with then let me know and I'll keep you in mind for any photos we may need in the future!

I'm looking for good images by Canon photographers to go in our Your Photos section of our new photography magazine to be published in the UK (by Future Publishing who already publishes Digital Camera magazine). We're potentially looking at printing one of your images were we ask one of our panel of photography experts to give you some positive feedback on the image.

I saw your stylish image in Digital Camera magazine and was wondering if you have any more images not used in that feature or on their website, possibly some landscapes as there's some nice ones on your site?

Would you like to email a selection of landscape images you're particularly proud of?

Send some before and after any Photoshop if you like.

I can then pick a few images out then you can email hi-res images back, plus an image of yourself too.

I'd also need a little more info about the images. Camera, lens, aperture, shutter speed, ISO speed, and about 100-150 words of text about the image, why did you took this photo, where it was taken, the conditions, what you were trying to achieve, any effects you have used to edit the image in Photoshop, anything you're not happy with ? that sort of thing.

Does that sound OK? If you could get back to me by Friday that would be great.

I took a look at your site after a friend if mine recommended it. I live in Mallaig, and am an amateur photographer. Good to see such a varied portfolio - the bird shots are excellent. I may bump into you on the beach at Camusdarrach one day. Good luck for the future.
