Basic wildlife workshops for beginners
I will be offering a service to better peoples understanding of camera controls and techniques and how to put them into use when photographing wildlife. Obviously you are limited to the amount of wildlife you can get close to in the field, so don’t expect to be showered with fantastic, rare species. I will be pointing you in the right direction on how to do this on your own and the skills involved to do so.
To improve your skills we will be concentrating on wildlife that is easy to find and easy to get close to, such as deer, wildfowl, barn-owls, swans, geese and smaller song birds.
My approach will be very informal and hands on. We will be out walking and learning, looking and shooting all at the same time. I will provide hand outs on topics covered and answer any questions you might have.
I can’t guarantee photos of wildlife, quite simply because it is wild, think more about the tips and knowledge I will be teaching you to put your own projects into action.
